First Parkrun and trip to Haddon Hall

Over past year quiet few people I know have expressed how much they enjoy Parkruns which happens all around the country in different location every Saturday at 9:00am. Since I’m really not a runner I didn’t think this will be something that will suit me but I have decided to give them a go anyways and I’m so glad I did.

It’s such an easy and productive way to spend your Saturday morning if you are free. Running 5 km really seems like a perfect distance for a good cardio so I am definitely planning on doing some more.

My first Parkrun took place in Poolsbrook and I did it in 27 min 20 seconds.

After the run me and my friend went off to explore Haddon Hall which is a very old country home in the Peak District not too far from Bakewell. Its construction started in 11th century and was home the the duke of Rutland and Manners family. One of my favourite movies Jane Eyre was partially filmed there as well which was my inspiration to visit this beautiful piece of history.

To finish off a great day we went off to Stanage for some walking until dawn since my friend has never been there.

Greetings my dear reader. My name is Natalia and I am a 28-year-old Marketing with Advertising graduate from around the Midlands in England. I love to travel and do loads of road trips, but above everything, I love climbing adventures with my climbing buddies. With this blog, I would like to be able to note down my thoughts and share my adventures I can look back at in years’ time with a smile on my face. I am also on a search for more exciting adventures and self-development. Since I absolutely adore natural world I also want to develop my knowledge and skills to reduce as much waste as I can that is bad for the environment. I like feedback and others input so I always want to hear other people’s experiences and ideas.
