Plastic Free July update no 4. – Making Snacks and lunch for the week.

One of few things I have been missing while going plastic free for the month was some tasty snack I could munch on in between work time. All snacks pretty much comes in plastic, or have a plastic part in their packaging, so I though I’ll have to experiment and make my own.

I have started with crisps, but that just did not work. I tried frying, making and microwaving but it was just too much time consuming.

Then, I saw this nice looking video on Facebook posted by So Vegan of the quinoa protein bar recipe, which I thought looked easy and fun to make, so as you can see from picture below this is my result.

Click here to the protein bar recipe. It’s super easy, tasty and fun to make.

I have also prepared easy, vegan and healthy meals for lunch to make my work days a little brighter.

Greetings my dear reader. My name is Natalia and I am a 28-year-old Marketing with Advertising graduate from around the Midlands in England. I love to travel and do loads of road trips, but above everything, I love climbing adventures with my climbing buddies. With this blog, I would like to be able to note down my thoughts and share my adventures I can look back at in years’ time with a smile on my face. I am also on a search for more exciting adventures and self-development. Since I absolutely adore natural world I also want to develop my knowledge and skills to reduce as much waste as I can that is bad for the environment. I like feedback and others input so I always want to hear other people’s experiences and ideas.
